PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Boston University men's lacrosse team was well-represented at this past Friday's USILA North/South All-Star Game, with seniors Dominick Calisto, Christian Carson-Banister, Cal Dearth and Greg Wozniak all playing well in their final college lacrosse game.
The four BU standouts helped the North earn a 22-14 win. All four Terriers factored in the victory, anchored by Carson-Banister's 10 second-half saves. He led all goalies in saves and allowed just seven goals to help preserve the victory.
Dearth started at attack and finished with four points thanks to one goal and three assists. He also caused a turnover and recovered a ground ball in a complete effort that became a trademark of his collegiate career.
Wozniak was once again sensational as a starting long-stick midfielder. He gathered four ground balls, forced one turnover and also added an assist. Calisto shined at close defense, causing one turnover and collecting two ground balls.
Both Dearth and Calisto were selected in the fourth round of the 2017 Major League Lacrosse Draft on Sunday. Dearth was taken 31st overall by Charlotte while Calisto was chosen moments later by Ohio with the 35th overall pick.
