Carson-Banister Named USILA Scholar All-American

BALTIMORE, Md. - Recent graduate Christian Carson-Banister of the Boston University men's lacrosse team was named a USILA Scholar All-American.
Carson-Banister is the first Terrier to receive such an honor. He received a degree in international relations last month and graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences with a 3.28 grade-point average. A Senior CLASS Award candidate and Scarlet Key recipient, Carson-Banister was also named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in April for the first time in his career.
On the field, Carson-Banister was named a Third Team All-American by both the USILA and Inside Lacrosse. He finished the season third in the country in save percentage (.586) and 12th in the nation in goals-against average (8.64) while leading BU to a 12-5 record and a trip to the Patriot League semifinals. A native of Dallas, Texas, Carson-Banister finished his career with 640 saves, a number that ranks second among active goalies in the NCAA. He posted a .557 save percentage and a 9.36 goals-against average over four years at BU.
