Okmin, Wilson Receive Scarlet Keys
September 18, 2017 | Men's Lacrosse
The Scarlet Key is one of the University's most prestigious honors. Okmin and Wilson were two of just eight student-athletes and 25 seniors across the entire University to be presented with this award.
Inductees of the Scarlet Key Honor Society are those students in their senior year who have exhibited exceptional leadership among their peers during their years at Boston University. Selection for Scarlet Key is based on excellence in University student activities and organizations, commitment, involvement in the individual's School or College, and in scholarship.
Both Okmin and Wilson have been terrific ambassadors of the program within the campus community. Wilson is a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection and has shined in the classroom throughout his time at BU. Okmin has worked tirelessly as an on-campus facilitator for the One Love Foundation, which works to raise awareness about the warning signs of relationship violence.
