Softball Places 11 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After claiming their third Patriot League title in five years, the Boston University softball team had a 11 Terriers named to the PL Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Friday afternoon.
The number of honorees marks the fourth straight season that BU featured double-digit honorees. Senior Jilee Schanda, the 2017 PL Player of the Year, was just one of eight student-athletes to achieve a 4.00 GPA. She was joined on her fourth honor roll by both 2018 PL Defensive Player of the Year Brittany Younan (3.83 GPA) and 2018 PL Player of the Year Alex Heinen (3.75 GPA).
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
