Burr and Cal Dearth ('17) became the first two Terriers to play for the same MLL team in the same game on Sunday; Dearth is currently in his third professional season and his second full campaign with the Cannons. Dearth was also part of program history on July 7 when he faced former classmate Christian Carson-Banister, the starting goalkeeper for his hometown Dallas Rattlers.
A native of Hamilton, Mass., Burr posted one of the best seasons in school history in 2019. He finished the year with a program-record 56 goals, which ranked third in the country, and 16 assists for 72 points, which ranks second in program history among single-season performances. Burr scored a goal in 34 straight games dating back to the start of the 2018 campaign, which was the second-longest active streak in the country. He earned First Team All-Patriot League accolades, Second Team All-New England honors, and was a candidate for the 2019 Senior CLASS Award. Burr finished his collegiate career as the team's all-time leader in goals (153) and points (194).
