The Boston University field hockey team will close out its Patriot League schedule on Friday (Oct. 25) when it visits Lafayette.

- The Terriers are now 6-8 on the year after a split last weekend, topping Colgate 3-1 before a 3-0 loss at New Hampshire.
- Senior Payton Anderson continues to lead the team in both points (21) and goals (10) with her goal total matching her career high set in 2021.
- Anderson now stands in 10th on BU's career points list with 76 and she is the reigning Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week.
- Junior Natalie Epperson has eight points on four goals while seniors Tegan Poerio (1g, 5a) and Katie Devine (3g, 1a) and junior Megan Wetzel (7a) have all tallied seven points.
- Wetzel ranks fourth among Patriot League players in assists this season.
- The Terriers have scored on 16 of their 68 corners this season for a conversion percentage of 23.5 percent, which ranks third in the nation.
- Graduate student Kate Thomason has started the past 12 contests in goal for BU and has a 2.26 goals-against average and a .725 save percentage, which are both career highs.
- Lafayette is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory over No. 20 Temple on Sunday during the team's Senior Day.
- The Leopards' other non-conference wins this season have come against Vermont, Dartmouth, Delaware, Quinnipiac and Providence.
- Senior Lineke Spaans leads the squad in points (18), goals (7) and shots (45).
- Sophomore Stella Malinowski has posted 14 points on five goals and four assists while senior Alex Darrah has provided 13 points on the strength of six goals.
- In goal, junior Raffi Fragomeni has starts in 15 games and sports a 1.32 goals-against average and a .737 save percentage.
- Friday will mark the 14th meeting between the two programs.
- The Terriers are 7-6 all-time against the Leopards.
- Lafayette has won the past four meetings, including a 3-2 overtime victory in last year's Patriot League semifinals.
- BU will close out the regular season and honor its senior class when it hosts Cornell on Sunday, Nov. 3.
- Game time at New Balance Field is set for 2 p.m.
