The No. 13/12 Boston University men's ice hockey team will travel to Amherst to face UMass on Wednesday night at Mullins Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Wednesday's game will be televised live on NESN in addition to being streamed on ESPN+, with an audio-only broadcast located here. Fans in Canada will be able to stream the game on TSN+.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • Wednesday's game is the conclusion of a home-and-home series that began on Saturday night at Agganis Arena, with UMass earning a 4-0 win.
  • Sophomore Michael Hrabal made 32 stops to secure the shutout while senior Mathieu Caron made 33 saves for the Terriers.
  • BU blocked 23 shots on Saturday against UMass, which is a season high.
  • Sophomore Gavin McCarthy and graduate student Brehdan Engum led BU with six blocks apiece.
  • McCarthy leads Hockey East with 34 blocks, which has already exceeded his total of 33 as a rookie, while Engum is second in the league with 31 blocks.

HISTORY WITH UMASS

  • The Terriers are 71-14-9 (.803) all-time against UMass in a series that began on Jan. 16, 1920.
  • BU earned its first win in program history against UMass, which was known then as Massachusetts Agricultural College, on Jan. 11, 1923, at Boston Arena.
  • The Terriers are 8-0-2 over the last 10 games against UMass, including a five-point weekend against the Minutemen in last year's home-and-home series.
  • BU is 21-3-4 against UMass at Agganis Arena, including three straight wins by a combined score of 16-5.

SCOUTING THE MINUTEMEN

  • UMass improved to 8-6-2 overall and 2-4-2 in league play after Saturday's win.
  • The Minutemen are 4-1-0 in their last five games, including a 3-1 win over Army West Point on Nov. 29.
  • Junior Cole O'Hara is second in Hockey East in both points (22) and assists (15) while sophomore Aydar Suniev is tied for third in Hockey East with nine goals and is sixth in the league with 18 points.
  • Sophomore goaltender Michael Hrabal is 8-5-2 with a 2.37 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.
