BOSTON – Looking to carry momentum from a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Army West Point, the Boston University men's soccer team will visit Brown on Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. start time.
The two New England rivals are meeting for the first time in five years after playing each other every season from 2003-2019.

- Sophomore Andrea Di Blasio keyed the rally against the Black Knights with his first two career goals in the second half en route to Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors.
- Junior Diego Rived earned his first career goal in the contest as well to give BU six Terriers with at least one goal this fall.
- Rived also became the fourth Terrier to earn at least one assist and one goal, joining senior Daniel Kim, junior Quin DeLaMater and sophomore Jason Zacarias.
- In total, nine Terriers have earned at least one point with senior Andrew Rent, junior Damola Salami and freshman Dylan Williams all recording their first assists of the year against Army.
- Both graduate student Andrew Wike and junior Ben Alexander have started three games apiece at net, posting a combined .781 save percentage and 1.17 goals against average.
- BU is 0-0-2 on the road this season with 1-1 ties at Northeastern and UMass Lowell.
- Opponents are averaging 2.4 more shots per game (9.7-7.3) with a 32-13 advantage in corner kicks.
- The Bears are 1-0-1 at home with a 2-1 win against Lehigh and 0-0 draw against Fairleigh Dickinson after going 4-3-2 last year.
- Brown's two losses came on the road at UMass (1-0) and Maryland (2-1).
- Three Bears have scored a goal with two others earning an assist.
- Henrik Weiper has started all four games at net, earning a .826 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average.
- Opponents are averaging one extra shot attempt per game (10.3-9.3) with a 23-21 edge in corner kicks.
- Brown leads the all-time series, 25-15-5, after the teams battled to a 1-1 draw in Providence back in 2019.
- The Bears are riding a six-game home unbeaten streak (4-0-2) against the Terriers.
- BU last won a game in 2016 with a 2-0 decision at Nickerson Field and last won on the road in 2007 (1-0).
- The Terriers will return to Patriot League play with a flight down south to Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Sept. 21) at 3 p.m.
- BU has won the last two meetings with a 3-1 home victory last fall and a 1-0 road win in 2022.
