TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is making its fourth consecutive appearance in the PL tournament, the program's longest stretch since making five straight from 2014-18. The Terriers have reached two PL finals, both as the top seed, and hoisted the trophy in 2023.
- The Terriers enter a conference tournament as the No. 4 seed for the fifth time in program history, owning a 2-1-2 all-time record with both ties occurring in the PL. The Bison advanced on PKs in 2016 (4-1) and Army advanced in 2018 (5-4). BU won the title in 1996 while in the America East.
- BU is 5-2 this season at home with PL wins over Navy, Holy Cross, Loyola Maryland and Colgate alongside a loss to Lehigh.
- At least four Terriers earned All-PL honors for the fourth consecutive season. Junior Andrea Di Blasio (F) along with seniors Ethan Gill (F), Diego Rived (M) and Quin DeLaMater (D) all landed on the second team, while sophomore Pharis Petrica (M) grabbed a spot on the third team.
- Both Gill (6g,1a) and Petrica (3g,7a) are tied at a team-high 13 points apiece with Di Blasio (5g,1a) close behind at 11. In total, nine Terriers have recorded at least one goal and one assist apiece.
- Both seniors Ben Alexander and Sheraz Saadat have earned seven starts apiece at net with junior William Clavier starting the other two. They've combined for a .707 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average.
- BU is averaging 1.2 more shots per game with a slight 68-66 advantage in corner kicks.
- The Bison enter the contest on a four-game unbeaten streak at 2-0-2 with wins at Navy (1-0) and Saint Joseph's (2-0).
- Bucknell previously posted a 2-1 victory at then-No. 23 Hofstra and drew with Maryland (2-2) on the road to temporarily earning a No. 23 national ranking.
- Named PL Offensive Player of the Year, Drew Roskos leads the Bison with 15 points off seven goals and an assist, while Jack Lucas (5g,3a) has 13 points.
- Jackson Sullivan added PL Defensive Player of the Year recognition to snap BU's three-year streak of earning the award
- Freddie Lapworth has started 16 contests, posting a .710 save percentage and 1.19 GAA.
- The Bison are averaging 4.4 more shots per game with an 81-68 advantage in corner kicks.
- The Terriers lead the all-time series, 5-3-6, after earning a 3-2 victory at Bucknell back in September.
- BU is on a five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1) after claiming a 1-0 victory in 2024 and 2-0 decision in 2022.
- BU is 3-2-2 all-time at home and is 0-1-1 in conference tournament action.
- The Bison pulled out a 3-2 overtime victory for the 2014 PL title and later advanced off PKs in the 2016 first round.
- The advancing team will visit either No. 1 American (12 p.m.) or No. 2 Lehigh (7 p.m.) on Tuesday (Nov. 11) depending on the #6 Lafayette-#3 Army West Point result.
