This is the first of eight away contests for the Terriers in 2025 and just one of two road non-conference matchups. Last time out, BU fell to the Fairfield Stags 13-9 at home.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa is coming off a PL Goalkeeper of the Week nod and has made 10+ saves in three of four starts this season.
- She tied her career high in saves with 12 against Stonehill and stopped 11 shots against Fairfield.
- Currently, Aiosa leads the PL in save percentage (.494) and saves per game (10.75).
- BU had eight different scorers with just sophomore Tessa Geddes scoring twice.
- Geddes has a 12-game point streak extending back to the end of the 2024 season and is currently at 95 career draw controls.
- Sophomore Izabella Amonte – in her first season of competition – leads BU in goals with eight and points with 11 through four games.
- As a team, the Terriers currently rank 31st in ground balls per game (18.75) in the NCAA.
- The defense is led by freshman defender Alexandra Burns, who has 13 ground balls and six caused turnovers in her first four games of action.
- Burns was a Patriot League honorable mention following last week's games.
- Iona kicked off its season with an 18-5 loss to Holy Cross at home.
- The Gaels had four scorers for their five goals, with Lindsey Grove being the lone player to notch two tallies.
- Goalkeepers Lauren Sweeney and Ava Giugliano split time in net, with Sweeney allowing 13 goals in the first half and Giugliano allowing five goals.
- The Gaels graduated two of their top three scorers from a year ago, but return 47-goal scorer Kira Virada, who was kept quiet in the team's first game.
- BU is 2-0 against Iona and 1-0 on the road.
- Last time the teams met, the Terriers won 14-9 at Nickerson Field in Boston in 2024. Prior to that, the Terriers took a 14-9 win in 2023 in New Rochelle.
- Senior Hannah Tillier and junior Elle Stevenson both scored four goals in the last meeting, while senior Avery Jones also picked up a hat trick in the win.
