TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers suffered a 17-5 defeat to No. 14/15 Yale last Saturday (Feb. 21).
- BU was down just 7-3 at the half and had played well defensively, but an eight-goal fourth quarter propelled the Bulldogs to the win.
- Scoring twice for BU were junior Tessa Geddes and senior Elle Stevenson.
- Senior Leah Hodgins also added a goal, while junior Natalie Aiosa stopped 11 shots.
- For her efforts last week, Aiosa received a Patriot League honorable mention, along with sophomore Kaitlyn Barton.
- Aiosa stopped 23 of 48 shots on goal and eclipsed the 300 career saves mark, making her just the sixth goalkeeper in BU history to do so.
- She enters the weekend first in the Patriot League in save percentage (.485) and second in saves per game (9.60).
- Barton picked up five ground balls, caused two turnovers and snagged 14 draw controls.
- Barton is just eight DC away from hitting 100 career draw controls.
- With her goal, Leah Hodgins is now sitting on a 14-game points streak dating back to the 2025 season.
- Geddes scored her first goal on a free position and is currently averaging a free position goal a game, good for first in the Patriot League.
- Stetson has played a slew of difficult opponents to open the season and has gone 0-3, including a 24-8 loss to No. 7 Florida on Wednesday.
- Junior Lexi Bird leads the team with three goals and three assists for six points.
- Both goalkeepers have played in each game so far, with returning starter Maddie Eckert sporting a .367 save percentage and 21.33 GAA and freshman Harper Hodgett owning a 20.52 GAA and .342 save percentage.
- Head coach Sue Murphy is in her second year with the program. She coached the Terriers from 1996-2001, amassing 55 wins over her six seasons at the helm.
- The Terriers and Hatters have never met.
- Stetson was established as a program in 2013.
- The last time the Terriers took on an ASUN opponent was in 2023, when BU played Coastal Carolina.
- That was the only ASUN opponent the Terriers have played, and BU has an 0-1 record against the conference.
