The Boston University men's lacrosse team began the program's second season this fall with three scrimmages as part of the Terriers' preparation for the 2015 campaign.
BU began its fall with a string of practices before a successful alumni weekend that culminated with the Terriers hosting Team Israel at Nickerson Field. BU hosted a golf tournament before an annual kickoff dinner on Friday, and the Terriers hosted an alumni game on Saturday afternoon. Prior to the game, the team unveiled its brand new locker room.
It was an exciting game against Team Israel, which included a ceremonial faceoff with the Consul General of Israel to New England, Yehuda Yaakov. The teams battled until the final seconds, with a late BU goal securing a 13-12 victory.
On Oct. 26, the Terriers traveled to Yale to take part in the Christian Prince Memorial Tournament. BU scrimmaged against both the host Bulldogs and Hartford, nearly pulling off a victory against Yale in the first game.
The Terriers will continue to prepare for their second season in the Patriot League which begins in February.
