Men's Lacrosse Hosts Successful Kickoff Weekend

The Boston University men's lacrosse program capped a successful Kickoff Weekend with a 17-6 victory over McGill on Sunday at Nickerson Field.
The Terriers' lone scrimmage of the fall was one of many highlights of the program's Kickoff Weekend, which welcomed friends, parents and alumni back to Boston. BU jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead just minutes into the contest and never relinquished the early advantage.
On Friday, the team hosted a golf tournament at River Bend Country Club. Saturday featured an alumni game on Nickerson Field before the annual team banquet at the Questrom School of Business. Head coach Ryan Polley introduced the team's newcomers and handed out team awards. In addition, Robert Paine (Questrom '86, '91) addressed the group as the keynote speaker.
