BOSTON – Tickets for the 2017 Women's Hockey East Championship weekend hosted at Walter Brown Arena are now on sale, Boston University and the league office announced on Wednesday.
Fans can purchase tickets online at Ticketmaster.com for the semifinals on Saturday, March 4, and for the championship on Sunday, March 5 or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets also will be available in advance at the Agganis Arena ticket office. In addition, tickets will be on sale at the Walter Brown Arena ticket office during women's ice hockey games.
Tickets for adults will be $10 for each day, and can be ordered online, by phone or in person. Tickets for seniors, children and groups of 10 or more will be $5 per person per day, and are available only in person at the Agganis Arena or Walter Brown Arena ticket offices. Students from any of the nine institutions in the women's league will receive free admission with a valid student ID. One ticket for Saturday is good for both semifinal contests.
The league's 15th anniversary season will conclude at BU the weekend of March 4-5. Two semifinal contests, scheduled for 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., will take place on Saturday, March 4, before Sunday's championship contest, which is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
BU is the most successful team in Hockey East Tournament history. The Terriers have won a record five titles, including four in a row from 2012 to 2015. They have advanced to the championship weekend in each of the last nine years and have played in the title game in each of the last five seasons.
