Burr, Hilburn Honored by Patriot League

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Freshman James Burr and sophomore Ryan Hilburn of the Boston University men's lacrosse team each earned weekly awards from the Patriot League on Monday.
Burr was named Rookie of the Week while Hilburn was tabbed as Offensive Player of the Week. Both players were terrific for the Terriers against Duke on Sunday, combining for nine points on the afternoon. At least one of those players factored on six of the team's eight goals, with Hilburn setting up Burr on two occasions.
Hilburn matched a career high with five points thanks in part to matching a career high with four assists. He also notched his 11th goal of the season to finish the year with 20 points.
Burr set a new single-season program record for goals thanks to a hat trick on Sunday. He scored his 26th, 27th and 28th goals of the season and also added an assist to finish the day with four points. He concluded a terrific rookie year with 35 points.
