September 29, 2016 | Men's Lacrosse
BOSTON - Boston University men's lacrosse head coach Ryan Polley announced on Thursday that Kaveh Torabian has been added to the 2016-17 roster.
Torabian, a freshman close defender, becomes the ninth newcomer to join the Terriers. A native of Westlake Village, California, Torabian played high school lacrosse at Oaks Christian School, where he was a 2016 US Lacrosse All-American. He also shined as a junior, setting the school record for most ground balls in a single season.
"Kaveh is one of the feel-good stories of the fall," Polley said. "All the guys were ecstatic when he officially made the team, which speaks to Kaveh's work ethic and how well-liked he is. Kaveh is an athletic defender who brings many great qualities to our program, on and off the field."
BU will enter the 2017 season with a 51-man roster, including 17 seniors and 15 players that were part of the program's inaugural season.
