TURNING POINT
- After Providence scored four straight goals to take a 5-4 lead in the third period, Leslie brought BU back to level terms when a shot from senior co-captain Alexis Crossley caromed off graduate student Mary Parker's stick and then Leslie's skate and into the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season.

- Crossley collected a career-high four assists and those four points are also a career best.
- She had previously had five two-assist efforts and had recorded three points in a single game on two separate occasions.
GOAL-BY-GOAL
- Bach opened the scoring just 8:19 into the proceedings with her 14th goal of the season. Crossley began the sequence by passing the puck out of the BU zone to junior Savannah Newton, who then dished it to Bach. The junior forward skated into the Friar zone and uncorked a wicked wrist shot that beat Madison Myers (19 saves) high to the glove side.
- Cassidy Carels answered for Providence at the 15:17 mark of the frame to send the teams into the first intermission deadlocked, 1-1.
- Leslie made it 2-1 at the 8:38 point of the middle period. She recovered a loose puck in the left corner and dished back to junior Nina Rodgers before wheeling around the left circle and driving to the net. Rodgers then hit Leslie with a terrific pass through several Providence defender, and after Leslie deked past the final Friar skater, she calmly beat Myers for her sixth marker of the season. Sophomore Connor Galway also assisted on Leslie's goal.
- Bach scored two power-play goals in a span of 1:13 to give BU a 4-1 lead. Her first goal came during a 5-on-3 thanks to a penalty she drew. Crossley fed Sutherland down low, and the senior quickly sent a pass across the crease for Bach at the right post for the goal.
- Her second strike came with the Terriers holding a 5-on-4 advantage when she curled into the right faceoff circle, and with no defender near her, used the ample time to fire the puck into the top right corner.
- Providence got a goal back with 1:19 left in the second period to make it a 4-2 Terrier lead, and then scored again early in the final frame to cut the BU lead to 4-3. The play was reviewed before being upheld.
- The Friars tied it, 4-4, with 6:49 left in regulation. The play was reviewed to see if it was offside, but after a look at the replay the goal was confirmed. They then grabbed a 5-4 lead with 4:57 to play before Leslie leveled the score.
