November 27, 2017 | Women's Ice Hockey
WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Senior Victoria Bach of the Boston University women's ice hockey team was named Hockey East Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
For the second straight weekend, Bach scored five goals, which led the NCAA. She recorded a hat trick as part of a four-point afternoon in the Terriers' 5-2 win over Minnesota State on Friday and then followed that with two goals against No. 1 Wisconsin on Saturday. No other player in the nation recorded more points than Bach last week.
The Milton, Ontario, native is now tied for second in the country with 15 goals this season, and she is the only player in the entire nation, male or female, to have more than one hat trick. Bach is also tied for fourth in the NCAA with 26 points.
BU will welcome Brown to Walter Brown Arena on Tuesday night, with puck drop slated for 7 p.m.
