BURR'S OVERTIME HEROICS
- On the opening possession of overtime, junior Jack Wilson got the ball at X and found Burr open in the left alley. Burr notched his second goal of the game to give the Terriers' their first-ever 10-win season and first-ever berth in the Patriot League tournament.
- The goal was Burr's second career overtime-winner. He clinched a 10-9 victory for BU against then-No. 16 Navy in double overtime last year.
ANOTHER CAREER DAY FOR DEARTH
- Senior Cal Dearth matched his career high with five goals and also added an assist to complete a six-point day.
- Dearth also collected three ground balls.
CALISTO WITH AN ALL-AMERICAN PERFORMANCE
- Senior Dominick Calisto was simply outstanding on Saturday as he held the nation's leading assist getter and second-leading point producer, Pat Spencer, to just one assist.
- Saturday was the first time all season that Spencer was held to just one point and only the second time in 2017 that he was held without a goal.
- Calisto finished with two ground balls and one caused turnover.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Terriers opened the game with three straight goals from Wilson, sophomore Brendan Homire and Dearth, but Loyola answered with three straight of its own to create a 3-3 tie after 15 minutes.
- The teams were tied, 4-4, with 10:46 left in the second stanza before Loyola added two goals to take a 6-4 lead into the break.
- Defense and goaltending dominated for most of the third quarter, with Loyola finally breaking through with 3:27 to play in the frame to take a 7-4 lead.
- Burr cut the deficit to 7-5, but Loyola once again responded to make it 8-5.
- Dearth then took over, scoring twice in 55 seconds to cut the deficit to 8-7 entering the final frame.
- Loyola scored first in the fourth quarter, but junior Hayden Ruiz and Wilson found the back of the net just 22 seconds apart to tie the score, 9-9.
- Zack Sirico regained a one-goal edge for Loyola with 9:11 to play, but senior Henry Lee responded by winning a ground ball on the ensuing faceoff and feeding Dearth to tie the game just seven seconds later.
- Senior Christian Carson-Banister made eight saves, but perhaps none bigger than the stop he had on Alex McGovern with just over four minutes to play. McGovern was in all alone on Carson-Banister after a Terrier turnover, but the senior netminder denied McGovern and kept the game tied.
- Moments later, sophomore Michael Laviano gave the Terriers an 11-10 lead when he converted a feed from Wilson with 3:26 remaining.
- The Greyhounds evened the score with 2:11 on the clock and had the final possession of regulation, but Carson-Banister made another key stop to send the game to overtime.
GAME NOTES
- Wilson extended his point streak to 39 games thanks to his two goals and three assists.

- Dearth last had five goals on Feb. 18 at Hartford.
- Lee assisted on two of Dearth's goals, the first two-assist day for the senior long pole. He also gathered five ground balls and forced one of Loyola's eight turnovers.
- BU is 3-0 all-time now in overtime tilts, having won twice in overtime this season. The Terriers topped Providence, 8-7, in double overtime to open the 2017 campaign.
- Freshman John MacLean was one of eight Terriers with a point thanks to his assist.
- All six starters at attack and midfield for the Terriers registered at least one point.
