Bach, Leslie Invited to Hockey Canada Selection Camp

CALGARY, Alta. - Seniors Victoria Bach and Rebecca Leslie of the Boston University women's ice hockey team were invited to Hockey Canada's National Women's Development Team selection camp, which will take place from Aug. 5-13 in Calgary.
This is the second straight summer that Bach and Leslie will take part in the camp. They will be among a group of 25 players that will participate in several practices and intrasquad games, as well as off-ice dryland training, fitness testing, and classroom sessions. Canada's National Women's Development Team selection camp will also feature Japan's national women's program and a select team of U SPORTS players.

Following camp, Hockey Canada scouts, along with the team's coaching staff, will continue to evaluate players with their club teams during the 2017-18 season, in preparation for selecting the Canadian team that will compete at the 2018 Nations Cup in Füssen, Germany, in January.
Leslie, who will captain the Terriers in 2017-18, scored a career-high 16 goals last year as part of a 34-point campaign (16g, 18a). Bach was a unanimous Hockey East First Team All-Star and also earned All-New England honors last year after leading the league with a career-high 49 points. She scored a career-high 23 goals and also matched her career high with 26 assists.
