Thirteen Terriers Named to PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Thirteen members of the Boston University men's lacrosse team were selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Wednesday.
Recent graduate Christian Carson-Banister and rising senior Jack Wilson were both named to the squad after also earning Academic All-Patriot League accolades. Carson-Banister, also a USILA Scholar All-American, earned a degree in international relations in May while maintaining a 3.25 grade-point average.
This is the third straight year that Wilson was chosen for the Academic Honor Roll. He posted a 3.33 GPA as a business administration and management major. Brian Badgett made the team for the third time in four years thanks to a GPA of 3.70. Badgett, who graduated in May with a degree in business administration and management, will enroll in graduate school at BU this fall and return to the Terriers for a fifth year.
Five Terriers earned a second straight appearance on the Academic Honor Roll. Henry Lee recorded a 3.30 GPA and graduated with a degree in environmental analysis and policy. Rising senior Isaac Lipton (3.33) is pursuing a degree in international relations while rising sophomores Matt DeMarche (3.33), Grant Gregory (3.85) and Christopher Lappin (3.25) all major in business administration and management.
Five rising sophomores received a spot on the Academic Honor Roll in their first year of eligibility. Jackson Colling (3.23), Nicholas Ellerton (3.25), Chase Levesque (3.65), Joe McSorley (3.78) and Kaveh Torabian (3.43) all made an immediate impact in the classroom as freshmen.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
