The Boston University men's lacrosse team will play its lone fall game of the year on Sunday when the Terriers face Michigan at the 2018 St. Louis Lacrosse Fall Classic, hosted at Lindenwood University.
The BU-Michigan matchup is scheduled for noon. All proceeds from the event will benefit St. Louis Children's Hospital. Sunday's scrimmage is part of a weekend of events that includes a youth clinic which the Terriers will lead for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. In addition to Saturday's clinic, the Terriers will take part in team-building activities.
"We're thrilled to spend the weekend in the St. Louis area and help raise money for a great cause," Polley said. "I'd like to thank Andy Kay and the St. Louis-Missouri chapter of US Lacrosse for hosting us and putting a great event together. We look forward to playing a top-20 team in Michigan and I'm excited to see this year's version of the Terriers. We're also thrilled for the opportunity to teach some young players about lacrosse and continue to grow the game in the St. Louis area."
Fans can follow the team's progress this weekend on Instagram at @TerrierMLAX as well as @InsideLacrosse, where sophomores Chris Gray and Tommy Nook will take over the publication's story during the trip.
