KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the sixth consecutive season, both the Boston University men's and women's soccer programs earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (formerly known as the NSCAA). The award is the highest academic team award a program can earn and was given to those that boasted a grade point average of 3.0 or greater during the 2017-18 academic year.
A combined total of 773 soccer teams (289 men, 484Â women) from the NCAA, NCCAA and NAIA were recognized, and BU was one of just 191 schools to have both of its programs honored.
Guided by head coach Nancy Feldman, the Terrier women earned a GPA of 3.34 for their 10th-straight honor, while the men under head coach Neil Roberts claimed their sixth-consecutive award with a 3.26 GPA.
