
Clark Inducted Into York High School Hall of Fame

YORK, Maine – Adding to her impressive list of accolades, current Boston University women's soccer assistant coach Emma Clark was inducted into the York High School Athletics Hall of Fame this past weekend.
Clark concluded a standout career at York during her senior year in 2010, as she was named the Maine Class B Player of the Year, Portland Press Player of the Year and Portsmouth Herald Player of the Year.. A two-time all-state honoree and four-time all-conference selection, Clark was also a member of two Maine state championship squads.
"This is such a special and distinct honor for Emma," commented Coach Feldman. "One of the things that made Emma great as a player and now does as a coach, is her ability to think the game and lead. Whether it was staring in high school. soccer or basketball, Emma's physical abilities were only matched by her ability to influence the entire team because of her competitive edge and her highly cerebral approach to finding a way to win."

Following her impressive career at York, Clark shined for BU in the midfield for from 2010-2013, helping the team win two America East Championships in 2010 and 2011 and a Patriot League Championship in the program's first year in the conference in 2013. She was named to the NSCAA All-Region team and to the all-conference first team as a junior and senior and assisted the Terriers in making three NCAA Tournament appearances.
