Program-Record Nineteen Terriers Named to PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - A program-record 19 members of the Boston University men's lacrosse team were named to the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Wednesday.
This is the third straight year that 13 or more Terriers have earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The previous high was 15 honorees in 2016.
Jack Wilson made his fourth consecutive appearance on this list, finishing his final semester at BU with a 4.0 grade-point average. A 2018 USILA Scholar All-American and three-time Academic All-Patriot League selection, Wilson graduated from the Questrom School of Business with a degree in business administration and management.
Graduate student Brian Badgett also earned Academic Honor Roll accolades for a fourth time after he earned a 3.20 GPA as a graduate student in Questrom.
Wilson was one of six members of the Class of 2018 to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll. Isaac Lipton (3.35) is a three-time honoree and graduated with a degree in international relations. In addition to earning their degrees, Ryan Hilburn (3.57, communications), Conor Okmin (3.33, business administration and management), Hayden Ruiz (3.32, biomedical engineering) and Joe Stucky (3.47, health science) all earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll for the first time, as did rising seniors James Burr (3.28, business administration and management), Eamon Hunter (3.35, communications) and Sean McGovern (3.50, business administration and management).
Three Terriers - Matt Demarche (3.50), Grant Gregory (4.0) and Christopher Lappin (3.25) secured a third straight selection to this squad. All three student-athletes are business administration and management majors in Questrom.
Three other business administration and management majors - Nicholas Ellerton (3.68), Chase Levesque (3.68) and Joe McSorley (3.58) - all collected a second consecutive spot on this list. McSorley was also an Academic All-Patriot League honoree in his first year of eligibility for that award.
Three Terriers made the Academic Honor Roll in their first year at BU. Bowen Brennan recorded a 3.93 GPA as a psychology major, Sean Christman notched a 3.34 GPA as a business administration and management, and Malcolm Glendinning collected a 3.23 GPA in general liberal arts and sciences.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
