Men's Lacrosse Adds to 2020 Roster

The Boston University men's lacrosse team and head coach Ryan Polley announced that the Terriers have added two players - Matt Gardner and Max Gomez - to its 2020 roster.
Gardner, a defender, brings a year of collegiate experience to Boston thanks to his time at Le Moyne, while Gomez arrives at BU having been a standout goaltender at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami.
A native of Victor, New York, Gardner made nine appearances for the Dolphins during the 2018 season and collected five ground balls. Prior to his time at Le Moyne, Gardner started every game for Victor High School as they won back-to-back state titles during his junior and senior seasons. Gardner was named to the 2017 All-USA Second Team and earned first team all-state recognition as a senior.
Gomez, a Miami native, played four years of varsity lacrosse at Christopher Columbus. He earned second team all-county honors as a senior captain. Gomez helped lead his squad to a district title and an 11-6 record in 2019.
