
Gray, Levesque Earn Patriot League Weekly Awards

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Sophomore Chris Gray and junior Chase Levesque of the Boston University men's lacrosse team each earned a weekly award from the Patriot League, the conference announced on Monday.
Both players were instrumental in the Terriers' 15-11 triumph over Holy Cross on Saturday. Gray was named Offensive Player of the Week after he matched a program record with 10 points thanks to four assists and a career-high six goals. Gray factored on eight of the Terriers' first nine goals of the game and did not turn the ball over once. He also collected one ground ball and one caused turnover in an all-around excellent effort. Gray leads the NCAA with 94 points thanks to 41 goals and 53 assists.
Levesque became the second Terrier in as many weeks to be named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week. He was outstanding all over the field on Saturday, causing four turnovers and gathering seven ground balls while also scoring his sixth goal of the year. Levesque is second on the squad with 57 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers this season, both of which are new career highs.
BU, ranked 16th in both major national polls this week, will conclude the regular season on Friday at Navy. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
