
Men's Ice Hockey Places Five on Hockey East All-Academic Team

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Five members of the Boston University men's ice hockey team have been named to the 2018-19 Hockey East All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Senior Max Prawdzik earned the honor for the third time in his career while classmate Bobo Carpenter picked up the accolade for the second time. Freshmen Hugo Blixt, Mark Cheremeta and Vinnie Purpura were all first-time honorees.
Student-athletes need to achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each semester to qualify for the award. Prawdzik led the team with a 3.57 GPA for the year with Blixt right behind at 3.55.
