BOSTON - The Boston University women's ice hockey team will close out a stretch of seven straight Hockey East games by hosting New Hampshire on Friday (Jan. 12) in its first home game in over a month before visiting No. 12 UConn on Saturday (Jan. 13).
Friday's game at Walter Brown Arena will start at 6 p.m. while Saturday's contest against the Huskies begins at 3 p.m. Both games will be available on ESPN+.
BU and UNH enter the weekend tied for fourth in the Hockey East standings while UConn stands in second place. Saturday will mark BU's first-ever visit to the Toscano Family Ice Forum, which opened last January.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU opened 2024 with a 4-3 win at Maine on Monday to extend its win streak to three and unbeaten streak to four (3-0-1).
- Senior Lacey Martin scored two goals, including the late game-winner, on Monday and leads the Terriers with 18 points this season on nine goals and nine assists.
- Senior Catherine Foulem (7g, 6a) and sophomore Clara Yuhn (5g, 7a) have added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
- Freshman Alex Law, the runner-up for Hockey East Rookie of the Month in December, has eight points (2g, 6a) in her past seven games.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- UNH has lost its past three contests and last played on New Year's Eve, falling 5-0 to Dartmouth in the finale of a seven-game homestand.
- Junior Kira Juodikis leads the Wildcats in both goals (8) and assists (8) this season.
- Classmates Shea Verrier (5g, 6a) and Marina Alvarez (3g, 7a) have added 11 and 10 points, respectively, and Alvarez is one of six Hockey East defenders with double-digit points.
- Graduate student Rae Breton has 52 blocked shots, which ranks second in the nation.
- Freshman Sedona Blair, who strung together three straight shutouts earlier season, currently sports a 2.42 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage.

- The Terriers are 38-19-6 all-time against New Hampshire, including a 20-9-2 record at Walter Brown Arena/
- BU is 15-4-3 in the past 22 meetings.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
- UConn ended a three-game winless streak with a 2-1 home victory over Brown on Tuesday.
- The Huskies will visit Merrimack on Friday.
- Senior Jada Habisch leads a balanced scoring attack with 17 points on 11 goals and six assists.
- Graduate student Coryn Tormala has put up 16 points on the strength of 11 goals while sophomore Brooke Campbell had contributed 13 points (7g, 6a).
- The Huskies' goaltenders have combined for a .943 save percentage, which ranks second in Hockey East.
- Junior Megan Warrener has not lost in eight starts (7-0-1) and has a .959 save percentage and a 0.76 goals-against average, which are both tops in the league.
SERIES HISTORY VS. UCONN
- BU is 31-15-9 all-time against the Huskies, including a 14-8-4 record at UConn.
- In 2021-22, the Terriers took just two of nine points in their season series with the Huskies and had their season come to an end with a road loss to UConn in the Hockey East title game.
