Eiserman Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week
October 21, 2024 | Men's Ice Hockey
AMESBURY, Mass. - Freshman Cole Eiserman of the Boston University men's ice hockey team was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Eiserman scored a career-high two goals in Friday's 4-2 win over UConn as BU improved to 3-0-0. He tied the game in the second stanza before scoring the eventual game-winner in the third period. Eiserman joins Shane Bowers (2017-18) as the only Terriers since at least 2002-03 to score four goals in his first three collegiate games, having also found the back of the net against Holy Cross and Union. No other NCAA rookie has more goals this season than Eiserman.
BU will hit the road for the first time this season as the third-ranked Terriers travel to No. 7 North Dakota for a weekend series that begins Friday night.
