TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU enters Saturday on a four-game win streak after defeating No. 11/10 Providence, 4-2, on Thursday night.
- The Terriers trailed the Friars, 2-1, entering the third period but freshman Macklin Celebrini's second goal of the night early in the frame tied the game at 2-2.
- Freshman Shane Lachance then scored the game-winner with 10:34 remaining in regulation before combining with Celebrini to set up classmate Jack Harvey's insurance goal with 8:43 to play.
- Lachance (1g, 2a) and Celebrini (2g, 1a) each totaled three points on Thursday, with Lachance setting career highs in both assists and points.
- Junior Mathieu Caron made 24 saves, all of which came in the final two periods as the Terriers held Providence to zero shots on goal in the opening frame.
- Celebrini became the first Terrier to record 50 points in a season since Jack Eichel (71 points), Evan Rodrigues (61) and Danny O'Regan (50) all achieved that feat during the 2014-15 season.
- He is also just the third freshman since 2005-06 to score at least 28 goals and the 12th rookie in that time frame to record 50 points.
- Sophomore Lane Hutson had two assists on Thursday to become just the fourth NCAA defensemen to record multiple 40-point seasons since 2005-06, and the only one to do it as a freshman and as a sophomore.
- Graduate student Cade Webber blocked seven shots on Thursday and set a new single-season NCAA record for blocked shots in a season at 114 and counting.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Terriers and Catamounts have played 94 times since the 1971-72 season, with BU holding a 59-25-10 (.681) advantage.

- From 1974-84, the teams shared time in the ECAC, with BU posting a 13-4-1 record against the Catamounts during the span.
- Since the Catamounts joined Hockey East in 2005, the teams have met 53 times and BU holds a 32-14-7 advantage in those contests.
- Overtime has been necessary in 18 meetings and BU is 7-1-10 in those decisions.
