BOSTON – Boston University Athletics is excited to announce that Bridgette Proulx and BU alumna Kaleigh Fratkin Lee (COM'14) will serve as the primary broadcasters for all home women's ice hockey games in the 2025-26 season. Proulx will also serve as the rinkside reporter for all home men's ice hockey contests.
Â
"I'm very excited for this season at BU working with two great teams and coaching staffs," said Proulx. "I'm so happy to be working with Kaliegh again, who I've worked with in the past broadcasting Hockey East games on NESN. We will take a lot of pride in being one of the only all-female broadcasting duos. I will also be doing rinkside for the BU men's hockey games this season and working with Bernie and Mark will be a lot of fun."
Â
Proulx is a co-host of This Week in Hockey East on NESN and previously served as the broadcaster for men's and women's hockey at Yale and Providence. She is also entering her fifth season as a Bruins reporter for WEEI. Proulx graduated from UMass in 2016 with a degree in sports management.
Â
"I'm thrilled to be a part of the broadcast team for this season," said Fratkin Lee. "I've worked with Bridgette in the past, so I'm excited to be back in the booth with her to provide an exciting broadcast for the fans. The BU program is special to me, so I'm eager to follow the team's journey this season. I look forward to getting things going."
Â
Fratkin Lee was a standout defender for BU and helped the Terriers earn Hockey East titles in 2012, 2013 and 2014 while appearing in the 2011 and 2013 NCAA title games. She never missed a game in her collegiate career, totaling 66 points from nine goals and 57 assists in 151 games played. A New England Division I All-Star and a Hockey East First Team All-Star in 2014, Fratkin Lee was also named to the Hockey East All-Tournament Team that year. She went on to play professionally for 10 seasons, most recently with PWHL Boston in its inaugural season, helping the team reach the Walter Cup final. Prior to her time in the PWHL, she won two titles with the Boston Pride in the NWHL (2021, 2022) and a title with the Boston Blades in the CWHL (2015). She has six years of broadcasting experience and graduated from the College of Communication in 2014.
