BOSTON – The No. 13 Boston University women's ice hockey team (22-11-2, 18-7-2 HE), seeded second in the Hockey East tournament, welcomes No. 15/14 Boston College (21-12-2, 16-9-2 HE), seeded third, for the semifinals on Wednesday (March 5) at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Students of Hockey East institutions will receive free admission to the game. Fans can purchase tickets for Saturday's game

HOCKEY EAST TOURNAMENT NOTES
- The Terriers are 26-16 overall in the Hockey East tournament with a 15-8 quarterfinal record, a 6-5 semifinal record and a 5-1 finals record.
- BU is 8-2 in the postseason when it is the No. 2 seed.
- The Terriers have won the Hockey East title five times, the most recent being in 2015.
- BU has made 11 semifinal appearances, the last of which came in 2019.
- The last time the Terriers won in the semifinal round was in 2016 when, as the No. 3 seed, they defeated second-seeded Northeastern, 4-3.
- The Terriers have not hosted a semifinal since 2017 and have only hosted a semifinal game twice in program history.

- The Terriers defeated Vermont in an overtime thriller, 4-3, to advance to the Hockey East semifinals.
- Juniors Maeve Kelly, Lilli Welcke, Sydney Healey and Riley Walsh all scored.
- Walsh and junior Luisa Welcke each logged two assists while Li. Welcke, Kelly, senior Maggie Hanzel and sophomore Alex Law each recorded one.
