TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is 12-7 in true road games this season with a 6-0 record against the Patriot League alongside two victories apiece at Florida Gulf Coast and Merrimack.
- Junior Brooke Deppiesse ranks 59th nationally with a .434 batting average. She's also fifth in triples (6), 40th in runs (41) and 68th in doubles (11).
- Junior Megan Coyle (.306) tied a program record with seven RBIs in game one at Holy Cross to move atop the team lead at 36 RBIs, three more than sophomore Kylie Doherty (.364).
- Doherty owns a team-high eight homers and is second in both runs (38) and RBIs (33).
- In the circle, junior Kasey Ricard (17-7, 1.86 ERA) has totaled 151 strikeouts in 157.2 innings, the second most pitched this year so far in NCAA Division I. Named PL Pitcher of the Week three times this season, Ricard became this past weekend the fifth Terrier in program history to reach 600+ strikeouts.
- Freshman Danika Nell (4-1, 3.63 ERA) saw her first action since February at Holy Cross due to injury. She's posted 38 strikeouts in 37.2 innings, while classmate Ava Johnson (3-1, 2.52 ERA) has earned 26 strikeouts in 25.0 innings.
- As a team, the Terriers are batting .310 and holding opponents to .222 with 91-54 advantage in extra-base hits.
- The Eagles are 6-6 at home this season with 2-1 record in conference play against Pittsburgh and a 1-2 mark against NC State. BC also has wins against Villanova, Stonehill and Army.

- Overall, the Eagles are batting .257 and holding opponents to .289 with a 36-17 deficit in homers.
- BU leads the all-time series, 27-26, thanks to an active seven-game win streak that most recently saw the Terriers post a 3-0 victory at the FGCU Kickoff Classic back on Feb. 7.
- In that meeting, sophomore Sophie Naivar, Doherty and freshman Biz Baglieri all earned an RBI over the last three innings, while Ricard posted eight strikeouts against three hits allowed for the complete game shutout.
- Three of the wins during the streak were decided by one run apiece, including a 3-2 (11) home decision back in 2022.
- Last season, Lauren Keleher ('24) hit for the traditional cycle as part of a 6-1 victory, and Ricard totaled five strikeouts over the final three innings for the save.
- In the last visit to BC, the Terriers run-ruled the Eagles, 11-0 (5), back in 2023. All-American Kayla Roncin ('24) batted a perfect 4-for-4 with a grand slam in the fifth inning.
- After wrapping up a five-game road trip, the Terriers will return home to host Sacred Heart and its first ever SEC opponent in Kentucky on Saturday (April 12) and Sunday (April 13).
- BU is 4-0 all-time against the Pioneers following a home 6-5 (9) win in 2016.
