Keller, Vlasic Claim Gold at 2025 Men's World Championship

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Former Boston University men's ice hockey standouts Clayton Keller and Alex Vlasic won gold with the United States at the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship on Sunday, as Team USA defeated Switzerland, 1-0, in overtime of the championship game.
Keller captained Team USA to its first men's world championship since 1933, totaling 10 points on three goals and seven assists. Vlasic notched two assists and was a plus-3 for the tournament. They became the fourth and fifth Terriers to win gold for Team USA at a major international tournament this year, as freshmen Cole Eiserman, Cole Hutson and Brandon Svoboda led the United States to gold at the World Junior Championship in January.
In addition to Keller and Vlasic, Jeff Kealty ('98) was the general manager for the team.
