TERRIER TIDBITS
- The league-leading Terriers, who went undefeated the month of September, look to extend their five-game win streak with Friday night's match against the Raiders.
- BU defeated Loyola Maryland 2-1 last Saturday to remain undefeated in Patriot League play.
- In the 51st minute, sophomore midfielder Mateo Turletti and freshman midfielder Ryan Ghajar passed the ball up the field to junior forward Ben Bagshaw, who scored a wide-open goal to put the Terriers up by one.Â
- Junior midfielder Pharis Petrica and Bagshaw passed the ball to senior forward Andrea Di Blasio in the 61st minute, who then headed the ball directly into the net to give the Terriers a 2-0 lead.
- The Greyhounds got on the board in the 72nd minute with a free kick goal scored by Tyler Flynn, assisted by Jack Endacott and Jeremiah McGuire.
- The Greyhounds outshot the Terriers 13-10 and had four shots on goal to the Terriers' two.
- Di Blasio's game-winning goal against the Greyhounds marked his fifth consecutive game where he's scored one or more goal. Additionally, he is tied for first in the league in goals scored with six on the year.
- Senior goalkeeper Ben Alexander continues to shine in net for the Terriers, picking up a 5-0 clean sheet against Bucknell last Monday and making three saves en-route to a 2-1 victory over Loyola Maryland. Alexander's presence in goal has played a massive role in BU's undefeated record in Patriot League play, as he leads the league in goals against average (0.60), saves (35) and shutouts per game (5).
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
- Colgate picked up its first Patriot League win of the season last Saturday when it defeated Navy 4-1 in Annapolis, M.D.
