Terriers Top NEILA Preseason Poll

The Boston University men's lacrosse team was ranked first in the 2026 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association preseason poll, as announced on Monday.
BU received one first-place vote but totaled enough points to take the top spot. Harvard earned the other five first-place votes and finished second, followed by Dartmouth and Yale in a tie for third. BU will face all three of those teams this season, with two of those games coming in the next two weeks. The Terriers will host Dartmouth at Nickerson Field on Sunday and then travel to Yale on Feb. 21.
The Terriers also remained in both national polls this week, coming in at No. 19 in the USILA coaches poll and at No. 20 in the Inside Lacrosse media poll.
