HOW IT HAPPENED
- Deppiesse started off the day with a single through the left side, but Jacksonville earned two ground outs and a fly out to keep the game scoreless.

- BU threatened in the second with junior Kyomi Apalit singling up the middle and advancing to third on two walks but flew out again.
- Jacksonville then quickly put two in scoring position with the help of a hit-by-pitch, walk and sac bunt to set up a two-RBI single.
- The Dolphins added a walk and back-to-back RBI singles against sophomore Danika Nell to grab a 4-0 lead.
- Sophomore Ava Johnson went on to pitch 3.1 scoreless innings, and senior Megan Coyle added a scoreless sixth to keep Jacksonville at four runs.
- On Friday, the Terriers rallied back with five runs in the bottom of the seventh for a thrilling 6-5 victory, but on this occasion, BU only had one runner reach third the rest of the contest for the shutout loss.

- During the third, the Herd followed a lead-off single and one-out single with a three-run homer down the left field line for the 4-0 advantage.
- Kline and Deppiesse started the fourth with back-to-back singles to help set up junior Kylie Doherty's RBI sac fly for the Terriers' first run of the day.
- Junior Livia Christopher and freshman Madolyn Coupal earned singles in the top of the fifth with two outs, but Marshall ended the threat on a fly out to left.
- For the third straight inning, the Terriers recorded a pair of hits with Deppiesse and Coyle starting off on singles to the outfield.
- The Herd brought in Jules King, who would go on to collect her third save by retiring all six Terriers she faced.
