Sam Harrison enters his first season as the volunteer assistant coach after spending last year as a student assistant.
Harrison graduated from Army West Point in 2010 after four seasons with the Black Knights' lacrosse program. He earned his bachelor's degree in engineering and industrial management before serving in the Army from 2010-2015. Harrison was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 and earned a bronze star.
On the field, Harrison was voted the team's unsung hero following his senior season in 2010 after he helped lead Army to its most recent Patriot League title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He started 16 of 17 games that year at close defense, causing 16 turnovers and collecting 24 ground balls.
