After helping the field hockey team capture a season-opening tournament title for the third straight year, senior co-captain Ally Hammel has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

The senior back tallied a combined seven points – two goals and three assists – in wins over Northeastern and New Hampshire at the Wildcat Classic. After opening the scoring in a 4-1 win over the Huskies with a penalty stroke on Friday, Hammel had a hand in all four BU goals on Sunday in a 4-0 win against the host Wildcats in the title game, adding another penalty stroke goal to go along with three assists.

Hammel also anchored a defense that allowed just one goal in 140 minutes and held UNH to just one shot on goal in the championship game.
