Reece Eddy made the most of his first season with the Boston University men's lacrosse program, helping lead the Terriers to an 11-6 record and a third consecutive Patriot League semifinal appearance thanks to his strong play as a long stick midfielder.

Eddy, a transfer from Canisius, caused a program-record 34 caused turnovers and recorded 71 ground balls, the most ever by a Terrier who is not a faceoff specialist. A terrific player in transition, Eddy also scored a goal and collected an assist.

His tenacious play helped the Terriers finish the year ranked first in the NCAA in caused turnovers per game (11.71) and fifth in the nation in ground balls per game (38.06). He was also part of a BU defense tha held opponents to 10.06 goals per game, good for 12th in the country.

In addition to his on-field success, Eddy shined in the classroom during his first year in the Questrom School of Business, posting a 3.58 GPA as an economics major en route to earning a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
