After earning his first Patriot League All-Conference award last season, Pete Siozios was off to a strong start his junior year. He became the first singles player from the program in over a decade to reach the Round of 32 at the ITA Northeast Regionals. He opened the event with straight-set victories during the qualifying rounds against Army and UConn. The New Hyde Park, New York, native added two more wins against Bryant and Dartmouth in the main draw.

Siozios finished with nine singles victories, including a pair of wins in the No. 4 slot against James Madison and Toledo during the dual schedule. In doubles action, he teamed with three Terriers for a combined four victories against just one defeat.

“Pete is the hardest working player on the team and his results show that,” said head coach Dejan Stankovic. “The amount of work he puts in the gym and fitness is remarkable. His physical preparation also translates positively on his mental game. He is able to stay on the court as long as he needs to put a point on the scoreboard. A true leader on and off the court, he is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team.”
