Three Terriers Earn Titles At Harvard Invitational

BOSTON - Junior Erin Cadden (Allentown, PA) and freshmen Jessica Cickay (Upper Dublin, PA) and Tahari James (Branford, CT) earned individual titles at the Harvard Invitational at Gordon Track on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Cadden won the 60-meter hurdles in 9.08, defeating Mary Serdakowski of Harvard, who placed second with a time of 9.18. Cadden earned a spot in the finals with a preliminary heat qualifying time of 9.21. The junior also competed in the 200-meter dash, placing 22nd with a time of 27.44.

Cickay earned a first-place finish in the mile run with a time of 5:08.76, besting her nearest competitor by nearly three seconds.

James, who competed in three events at the meet, won the long jump with a leap of 5.63m. She also placed third in the high jump (1.60m) and 13th in the 200-meter dash (26.98).

Four other Terriers earned Top 5 finishes, including senior Elisa Miller (Moon Township, PA), who tied for third-place in the triple jump (11.18m) and placed 11th in the long jump (4.96m). Sophomore Alaina Ramsey (Rayway, NJ) took third in the weight throw (13.68m) and also placed 14th in the shot put (9.64m). Sophomore Jennifer Malenovsky (Long Island, NY) placed fourth in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:31.09, while junior Victoria Lopez (Queens, NY) took fifth in the 400-meter dash in 59.57.

The Terriers will next host a Quad Meet against Boston College, Massachusetts, and Sacred Heart on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
