Veronika Karlsson was named the 2008 women's rowing MVP. She rowed in the bow of the varsity eight for the entire regular season, including wins over Syracuse in the Kittell Cup and George Washington and Navy in the Playfair Cup. She moved to the three-seat of the varsity eight for the Eastern Sprints when the boat earned a spot in the Grand Final and placed sixth overall.
