Former Terrier Sullivan Named to AHL All-Star Game

Sean Sullivan, a former captain and All-American for the Boston University men's ice hockey team, has been selected to participate in the 2010 AHL All-Star Classic on Jan. 18-19 in Portland, Maine.
The defenseman is enjoying his best pro season yet with the San Antonio Rampage, the AHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL. He has tallied 29 points on the strength of 21 assists this season and was named the league's player of the week on Oct. 12.
The Boston Globe caught up with Sullivan before he headed to Maine to participate in the All-Star Classic, which will begin with Monday's skills competition, which will be televised live by NESN at 8 p.m. Tuesday's All-Star Game will also be televised by NESN beginning at 6 p.m.
