PRINCETON, N.J. - Continuing the Fall schedule at the three-mile Princeton Chase, the Boston University women's rowing team recorded five top-15 results Sunday on Lake Carnegie. The top varsity four boat coxed by Mia Serabian and stroked Lesley Pepin and the top novice eight boat coxed by Sarah Specht and stroked by Allison Langholff each finished eighth.
The varsity eight boat coxed by Kayla Rivers and stroked by Claire Kuehnel placed 15th overall, finishing ahead of top boats from Rhode Island, Columbia, MIT, Syracuse, Rutgers, George Washington and Georgetown.
Racing in the small boats competition against both men and women, Brittany Tovee and Lynn Ratte took 37th overall and second among the women rowing in the 2x boats, while the duo of Kuehnel and Mariel Boomgaardt placed fourth in the 2x and 40th overall.
BU will next race in the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 13.
