CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -
After leading the Boston University men's basketball team to an 85-79 win over Saint Joseph's with a game-high 29 points, junior Darryl Partin has been named America East Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
The junior transfer from La Salle, who had already gone for a league and career-high 32 points earlier this season against Cornell, shot 10-of-15 from the field overall and canned 6-of-8 three-point attempts. He keyed a 27-6 second half run in which BU erased a 12-point deficit, scoring nine points in that stretch.
Partin, who also tied a season high with three steals to help the program earn its first victory over the Hawks, is tied for 11th amongst league leaders averaging 12.5 points per game.
