After averaging 23.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg over three games this past weekend, senior Darryl Partin has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
The Seattle, Wash., native started on Friday with 24 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals against Cleveland State in a tough 63-62 loss. The Vikings entered the contest with the 26th most amount of votes in the Associated Press poll.
He then helped BU snap Rhode Island's 32-game home win streak against non-conference opponents with 20 points for the 70-64 victory and followed with 25 points and five rebounds in the 68-61 win over Hofstra. In the third game against the Pride, Partin scored 18 straight points for the Terriers during an eight-minute stretch, which included four consecutive 3-pointers.
The 6-foot-6 guard currently leads the Terriers in scoring at 22.8 ppg while shooting 45 percent from the field.
