2011-12 Indoor Track & Field Schedule

BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's track & field programs have announced their 2011-12 indoor schedules. Both teams are slated to take part in at least eight meets this year, with most taking place at the Track & Tennis Center.

After an intra-squad scrimmage on Dec. 9, BU will begin the year with three "mini meets" on each Saturday from Dec. 17-31 at the TTC. The Terriers will then host a multi-team meet on Jan. 19.

BU will host the Terrier Invitational on Jan. 27-28, with the men competing on the 27th and the women competing on the 28th. That same weekend, the heptathlon and decathlon student-athletes will compete at the Harvard Multi-Team Meet.

Harvard will also be the site of the Battle of Beantown on Feb. 3, with both squads competing. The Terriers will host the Valentine Invitational on Feb. 10 (women) and Feb. 11 (men), before both teams take part in the America East Championships from Feb. 17-18 at the TTC.

Following the conference championships, both squads will host the New England Championships from Feb. 24-25. From March 3-4, the men will host the IC4A Championships, while the women will compete at the ECAC Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

The NCAA Championships will take place on March 10 and 11 in College Station, Texas.
