BOSTON - Competing in its final home event of the season, the Boston University women's rowing team finished third in the Beanpot Saturday morning on the Charles River. No. 13 Radcliffe won the varsity eight race with Northeastern finishing second, 7.7 seconds ahead of the Terriers.

Seniors Mariel Boomgaardt, Margaret Carbery, Allie Doro, Lesley Pepin, Alex Thornton, Brittany Tovee and Krystal Weston were honored by the team following the event.

They will next race in the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 15, on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.
